Sample the wide world of folk dance!  This class will introduce you to some of the beautiful, traditional dances from around the world.  We'll explore music from Wales in the west, to Japan in the east; from northern Russia to southern Bolivia...and several more stops in-between. We'll learn simple line and circle dances, typical of traditional societies world-wide.  The historical and cultural backgrounds of these dance communities will also be studied.  No experience is needed, no partner required.  Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes.  Be ready to have lots of fun!
