Do you enjoy the drama of reading aloud?  Or recall fondly being read to as a child?  You can easily indulge both of these pleasures by joining us in a reading fest that is bound only by our imagination.  Featured Readers will share their special talents and stories, also giving us tips on improving our speaking skills.  Every student will share what they bring to class, be it poems, jokes, quotes, essays, anecdotes, journal writings or personal work...whatever you find appealing.  Start gathering material and practicing your best delivery, though if you'd just like to hear others read, that's fine too.  We'll try to stay within a 5 minute limit so that all will have an equal chance to read, leaving time to discuss the reading, as well.  We've had lots of fun with this format in the past, so please join us on our new group-participation adventure!

Did you know reading aloud stimulates the brain?
