Also new to our teaching staff this term is Wayne McVey; he will be bringing us his professional view of Population and Aging.  This course will involve the exploration of the impact of demographic changes throughout the world with respect to the aging of our populations.  This will include examinations of fertility versus mortality in industrialized nations and the use of basic data sources such as vital registration and census collection systems will be explained within an historical context.  An assessment of shifts in dating, mating, separation, divorce, remarriage, and the increased popularity of cohabitation will aid in the understanding of changes in family formation.  You know you wouldn't want to miss that!   So don't.
